My name is Charlie Burt and this is my studio! I wear a lot of hats around here including but not limited to graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, typographer, and resident cat-handler. Operating in the Kansas City area for more than a decade in varying creative capacities—from freelancer to full-time Creative Director— I've developed a passion for branding, identity, packaging, and menu development with a special focus on the food & beverage and spirits industries.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to begin working on the branding and label design for Bronson's, a bottled cocktail unlike any other on the market, released July 2021. Leaning into the mystique and transformative nature of the milk punch clarification method itself, the brand embraces a play on alchemical legend and iconography.

VIEW THIS PROJECT
In 2020 I was sought out by Hotel Kansas City, a new boutique hotel in KC, to create a system of menus for their refined restaurant concept 'The Town Company'. Primary menu featuring dinner, cocktails, and wine, secondary Dessert menu. In collaboration with Kelsey Alt, then wine director, eveloped a visual system for describing the body of wine.
